Which Mac do I have?

Open the Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen and choose About This Mac.

  • If the chip is listed as Apple M1, M2, M3 or M4— any "M" number — take the Apple Silicon build.
  • If it says Intel, take the Intel build.

If your browser cannot identify the chip, both Mac downloads are available.

From download to your first meeting

Choose your setup guide. Both stay available if you are downloading for another computer.

Set up on macOS

  1. Move the app to Applications

    Open the .dmg, drag ReelMeeting to Applications, then eject the disk image.

  2. Open ReelMeeting

    The beta is not yet Apple-notarized. If macOS blocks it and you trust the download, open System Settings, choose Privacy & Security, then Open Anyway. Apple’s guide to opening downloaded apps.

  3. Sign in and start a meeting

    Open your email magic link, review the consent notice, and allow microphone access when prompted. Capture starts when you press Start.

Set up on Windows

  1. Download the Windows installer

    Choose the Windows 10+ installer above. This beta build is untested on physical Windows hardware.

  2. Run Reelmeeting-Setup.exe

    Follow the installer, then open ReelMeeting from the Start menu. If Windows or your organization blocks installation, check with your administrator.

  3. Sign in and start a meeting

    Open your email magic link, review the consent notice, and enable microphone access if prompted. Press Start when you are ready.

What it runs on

macOS
13 (Ventura) or later, on Apple Silicon or Intel. This is the version to use today.
Windows
Windows 10 or later. The installer exists and now carries the audio engine, but nobody has run it on real Windows hardware yet — so it is untested rather than supported, and we won't claim either way until someone has. Release notes and checksums are available beside the download button.
Linux
No build. We would rather say so than hand you an installer that cannot run.
Phones and tablets
None. ReelMeeting runs beside the meeting on the machine you are taking the call on.
Connection
Online. Speech and critique are processed in the cloud; Local Mode, which keeps everything on your machine, is a preview and not finished.
